Meet Our Team

At SkyHi Kennel, our team is made up of passionate animal lovers dedicated to providing the best care and experience for every dog that walks through our doors. From playtime and grooming to cuddles and care, we treat each pet like part of our own family. Our staff is trained, experienced, and committed to making sure every pup feels safe, loved, and right at home.

Owners

Megan & Lucas

Lucas and Megan are the proud owners of SkyHi Kennel, sharing a lifelong love of animals. Lucas grew up with dogs, and Megan was raised around all kinds of animals and trained as a veterinary technician.

Originally from Michigan, they’ve made Helena home, where Lucas works as an auto body technician and Megan runs the daycare, providing love and care to every pup—whether for daycare or overnight stays.

They enjoy hiking and spending time with their own furry and feathered family: 3 dogs, 2 cats, 7 goats, and 5 chickens. Their goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment where every dog feels at home.

Assistant Manager

Nathan Edge

I'm Nathan Edge, and I'm originally from Atlanta, GA. After working in various marketing roles over the past decade, my life took an exciting turn when my wife and I (along with our doodle, Amos!) relocated to Helena in October 2022. After the move, I decided to take the plunge and follow my lifelong passion and dream of working in animal care, and I joined the SkyHi team after New Year's 2023. It's been a wonderful year getting to know all of your dogs, and I look forward to playing with them every day!

Daycare Specialist

Gabrielle Bennink

Hi, I’m Gabrielle! I joined the team in April 2024 after graduating from the University of Montana Western with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Horsemanship. I’ve always been fascinated by animal behavior and more specifically, humans and animals working together! After working alongside our family dog, doing therapy work in our community, I knew I wanted to pursue work in the animal field. In my free time, I love spending time with my horses or training my Springer Spaniel, Atlas, who I train and compete with in several dog sports. Working here lets me combine my passion for animal behavior with my love of helping every dog feel happy, confident, and cared for.
