Joining the SkyHi Pack: Getting Your Dog Started
Welcome to SkyHi Dog Daycare! We’re thrilled to have you and your furry friend join our community. To ensure every pup has a safe and enjoyable experience, we’ve created a step-by-step process for introducing your dog to our free-run daycare environment!
We’re looking forward to meeting your pup! Creating an account is the first step to getting them started!
Step 1: Schedule the Trial Day
The first step is a Trial Day to assess your dog’s temperament and sociability. Since SkyHi is a free-run daycare, it may not be the ideal environment for every dog.

Puppies (4-6 months): Young puppies join our specialized puppy group.

Older Puppies (7-10 months): These dogs complete a Standard Trial Day but will be charged puppy rates until 10 months old.
Trial days cost $25 and include a morning of supervised group play and a complimentary detailed report card with photos and recommendations.

Drop-off Time: Monday-Friday between 7:30-8:00 AM.

Trial Period: 7:30-11:30 AM.
We carefully integrate new dogs into the group to reduce stress and observe their behavior. Dogs exhibiting extreme stress, self-isolation, defensiveness, or unsafe play will be sent home early, as their happiness and safety are our top priorities.
Step 2: Attend the Evaluation Day
Step 3: Start with Open Playdates
New dogs begin with half-day Open Playdates held Monday-Friday (AM or PM). This gradual introduction ensures they settle into group play comfortably before advancing to full-day daycare.

Large Group Environment: Our playgroups average 15-18 dogs. While many dogs thrive in this setting, some may find it overwhelming.

Behavioral Observations: We provide honest feedback about your dog’s suitability for daycare, as we strive to maintain a happy, stress-free pack.
